Lucy's Hearth will hold its 16th Annual wreath sale on Saturday, December 3 from 9AM-12noon.  Beautiful, fresh evergreen wreaths that have been hand decorated will be for sale along with delicious baked items and holiday goodies.  Wreaths sell out quickly so get there early.  All proceeds go directly to Lucy's Hearth Women's and Children's Shelter.  For more information go to http://lucyshearth.org/

Visiting Nurse Service RI will hold a free health-screening clinic on Wednesday November 30 from 1-3PM at St. Paul's Methodist Church's Warming Center.  Case mangers will be available for referrals.  The clinic is open to all shelter residents and soup kitchen guests.  The Warming Center is located at 12 Marlborough St., Newport.  Sandwiches, snacks and coffee will available for participants.
